IT'S TIME TO FIGHT BACK THE TERROR!
[TRAINEE] The trainee are students in the training academy that are preparing to join one of the three branches of military. They train for nearly four years and then graduate. Only the top ten students from each class are permitted to join the military police. Most usually go to Garrison, considering it is the easiest. For the brave, and often times stupid, there is the Survey corps. Students are trained to kill titans and fight hand-to-hand combat regardless of what branch they wish to join. 
[SURVEY CORPS] The Survey Corps , also known as the Scouting Legion, Scout Regiment, or Recon Corps, is the driving force of the plot and story as it is the branch of the Military most actively involved in Titan combat and human expansion. Despite having little success, they still symbolize 'the hope of mankind', their insignia being known as 'the Wings of Freedom'; they hope that someday, their efforts will change the world known for humanity's better, and recover what had been lost. Most seen around Wall Maria and Rose.
[GARRISON] The Garrison are the protectors of the walls. They are the first line of defense in the event of a titan attack. Most graduating cadets choose to join the Garrison simply because it is leisurely until a titan attacks. They sometimes involve themselves in peace keeping matters, but their main job is to guard the walls and make sure the cannons are well prepared for battle at any given moment. They monitor every one entering and leaving each of the walls, and are the only ones that can open or close the gates.
